Ramblings of a Ho

It's all happening

As February is zooming by, I'm realizing that the next few months are going to fly by so quickly. Today I ordered my cap, gown, and hood for graduation. Can you believe it? I also signed up for what Advanced Learning Bundles I wanted to take (all marketing-related, of course!) This is the culmination of the MBA program and it's hitting me hard that life will go back to "normal..."

Although really, what is normal? My normal has probably changed from what it was in July. I've grown up, matured, yet also found the energy I was lacking in my undergraduate years of college. I'm getting married and buying a home and if all goes well, will get a dog! What fun!

As with all exciting times, however, there is some fear of the unknown. Fear of not finding a job; fear of losing friends; fear of the responsibility of being a wife and a homeowner; fear of getting to where I've worked hard to get to and realizing that it wasn't all it was cracked up to be.

I'm sure you all are feeling the same excitement, anticipation, and fear. Through it all, we need to remember this:
"Optimism is the faith that leads to achievement; nothing can be done without hope."

- Helen Keller
