These products have made my life a little easier in the warmer months and have saved my skin from some summer faux pas.
Who knew pubic hair oil is something I thought I would consider a ‘must-have’. But I have fallen for this product hook line and sinker. So what makes it so good I hear you ask? Well if like me you are a shaver over a waxer then this product is a Godsend. Goodbye ingrown hairs and ugly red bumps, this oil clears pores to banish those pesky ingrown and leaving you with healthier and smoother skin. This oil is a summer savour for bikini lines and anywhere hair grows. I’ve been loving using it on my underarms as well.
Give me all the hyaluronic acid! My skin is always dry. Be it summer or winter, the weather will find a way to drain moisture from my skin. I try and drink plenty of water so that I am naturally hydrated but I still need that extra helping hand. Que Super Bounce, this serum keeps my skin hydrated and subtle. I love the Glossier serums, not only for the cute packaging but because the formula works wonders and its affordable. I would highly recommend super bounce if your skin is lacking moisture and in need of a little TLC.
When it comes to facial SPF, in particular, I am a huge advocate, I will harpe on to anyone who will listen about the importance of wearing sunscreen even in the darkest days of winter. I even buy SPF as gifts, that’s how serious I am on the benefits. Currently, I am using the high protection facial sunscreen for dry and sensitive skin by Avene. I normally love Avene products but this sunscreen isn’t my favourite. It doesn’t break me out or anything bad, I just feel it gives me a little bit of a white sheen. I’m planning on trying the Drunk Elephant SPF as a lot of people rave about it and for Drunk Elephant it is quite reasonably priced.
For my body, I normally use a drugstore brand like Nivea. I always opt to buy pocket-sized bottles because it gives me more incentive to carry it around all day and re-apply every 3 hours. Although my clothes always get ruined by sunscreen so if anyone has any good recommendations for sunscreens that don’t destroy your closes please leave a comment below.
I got this mini-sized highlighter as part of the SpaceNK birthday gift and I have been loving it for summer. I don’t normally wear a lot of makeup and when it comes to summer I tend to bare a lot more skin. I normally dab some of the product on my cheekbones and across my lids to give me that I’ve just been in the sun glow.
My newest obsession is this Chanel bronzer, this is all I need in terms of makeup during the summer months especially when on vacation. A sweep of the Soleil Tan bronzer, mascara and a bit of highlighter and I am good to go. The texture is super light and it blends smoothly over the skin, leaving you with a beautiful sun-kissed glow. I’ve been asked so many times while wearing this product if I had just come back from vacation, that’s how good (& natural) the glow is.
I will always have a travel-sized bottle of this stuff with me wherever I’m going, especially if it is hot AF outside. It is such a good way to cool down, calm a heat rash or sunburn. I also use it to set my makeup. It’s so cheap too, a must-have in my opinion.
