My Top 6 Beauty Products of 2019

I am the opposite of an impulse shopper when it comes to beauty. I like to research my purchases, see what others are saying about it before I make the purchase. Because of this, I feel like a lot of my purchases are normally a success but there are of course some misses. The products included in this post are ones that I love and that I have/would repurchase.

Clinique Take the day off Cleansing Balm

For my first cleanse I used to use micellar water before I switched it up and trying a cleansing balm. The Clinique one was recommended to me so I decided to try it out and oh my god where has it been all my life.
I love how the balm melts into my skin removing any makeup and dirt. It also leaves my skin feeling smooth and hydrated rather than how some cleansers leave my skin feeling stripped.

I use the balm cleanser as my first cleanse to remove my makeup before going in for a second cleanse with a milk cleanser.

Drunk Elephants Marula Oil

Nothing has saved my skin more in winter than this oil. I normally suffer from quite dry skin during the winter and I felt like this oil really help combat this. I really love this oil and the feeling of putting it on is just pure luxury.

BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector Liquid Highlighter

For me, everything dulls in comparison to this highlighter. I just love the look of it on my skin, it lasts really well and you only need a tiny bit to create that shine. This highlighter is my secret to keeping that summer glow all winter long. I wear the shade opal.

Glossier Lash Slick

A more recent discovery but it has been my favourite mascara I think I’ve ever owned! I have tried a lot of mascaras in my time and so many have left me with clumpy lashes. Which isn’t a cute look. Lash Slick’s applicator fans out my eyelashes while coating it with just the right amount of mascara. Leaving me with natural-looking lashes. I think if you are after a mascara that accentuates your natural lashes then you’ll love this.

Chanel Soleil Tan De Bronzer

I mean everyone raves about this bronzer but if you want tanned summer goddess vibes all year round then you need this product in your life.

Drunk Elephant’s T.L.C Framboos Glycolic Night Serum

I love this product as it targets two major concerns I have about my skin, clogged pores and reddness.
For my pores, I found that after a week or two of using this product there appearance was a lot less noticeable. The acid clears away all your dead skin that would normally clog up your pores. This helps to give your skin a radiant glow. The product also helped combat my redness by balancing out my complexion.
