This collection of 11 original paintings is playful, vibrant, and rooted in nostalgia. Inspired by my perspective of moving between New York and Stockholm, the works explore familiar foods and everyday moments through a colorful and joyful lens.

I chose food as a recurring theme because I believe it is a form of connection, much like art. Food is something we all experience, yet it can hold deeply personal memories of childhood, family, celebration, and togetherness. A painting of hot dogs, for example, might seem silly or wonderfully simple at first glance, but behind that familiar image can be memories of summer barbecues, childhood, home, or time spent with the people we love.

Through bold color, expressive brushwork, and familiar imagery, I enjoy taking these ordinary moments and celebrating them. My hope is that each painting feels playful and personal, while also giving the viewer a chance to connect it to a memory of their own.
